Dr. Liz Vennos, MD is the sole medical provider at Bellingham Dermatology which she founded in 2002. Dr. Vennos is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon. Susan Kallal is the provider at Birch Bay Dermatology serving Bellingham and the nearby cities. Dr. Kallal is thorough, professional, pleasant, and takes the time to explain to explain procedures and diagnosis in simple yet professional terms. Her staff is efficient, the office is rarely behind, and all interactions are handled well. I have visited the office many times in the past year and have found a consistent quality care.
Dr. Stan Gilbert has been the Medical Director for Dermatology & Laser Center NW since 1997. Some of the services at his clinic include esthetician, medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and skin care products. Dr. Gilbert is a board-certified dermatologist who received his medical degree from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Dermatology at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He works together with Dr. Jan Dank who joined the practice in 2003.
After being treated for 5 months from another clinic we called Dermatology & Laser and got an appointment the next day. They worked us in at the end of the day. We had been given a wrong diagnosis from Rosario Clinic . The Staff here was wonderful and caring. Dr. Stanley Gilbert was great and took his time talking to us and gave us the right diagnosis. Just 24 hours later the relief was amazing. It was a bad breakout of eczema and Rosario said was scabies and treated us with expensive permethrin which is basically bug spray that only made it worse.
The providers are caring and highly competent. They answered all my questions and delivered superior medical care. The Botox is great too; it took 7 years off my face!

Thereafter, he completed his residency training at Louisiana State University Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Mohs’ Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Doherty is the best dermatologist in Whatcom County! Trust me, I've been to them ALL over the years. I've been seeing a dermatologist for the last 10+ years every year for melanoma checks, and it's been quite the search for someone I feel comfortable with. Dr. Doherty is very very kind, and so are his nurses and staff. Very refreshing. If you're looking for someone who cares, who listens to your concerns, and takes time in the appointment to do the job well, look no further. They will put you at ease! Very thankful for Dr. Doherty.
Dr. Doherty is the best in his field. I have had many skin cancers because of hereditary and medical conditions. We have lived in several cities because of my husband's career so I have had the skin cancers removed by various dermatologists on the west coast. I agree with another of the reviewers that Dr. Doherty is truly a master. The cancers he has removed are the ONLY ones that have not left a scar. He is exceptional at his craft. He also has a very good "bed-side manner". Great doctor all around.
Dr. Tom Langei and Assistant Corinne Sayler are the providers at Fairhaven Dermatology. They offer skin cancer screening, evaluation of moles, skin cancers including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, cysts and other skin growths and MOHS Surgery. Corinne earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Lengei attended the University of Washington graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors. He completed his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. He completed his five years internship in Internal Medicine in Illinois.

Came here about a month ago to see Dr. Sayler for my acne. I had the best experience. Staff was super friendly, clean and tidy place, and Dr. Sayler was SUPER kind, bubbly, and helpful during my entire visit. I’ve gone to quite a few dermatologists and she is BY FAR my favorite! (: Would recommend this place to anybody.
Megan Gruber, Lisa Carr, Cynthia Seldal and Kirstin Curtis are the providers at Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology. They treat a wide variety of skin conditions treated include eczema, full skin evaluations, rashes, psoriasis, acne and moles. Kristin Curtis graduated with Magnaq Cum Laude honours in 2002 from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is a board certified as a dermatology nurse practitioner since 2013. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Gruber and Dr. Pearson have both been great to work with. They happily answer all of my (many) questions and I always feel comfortable in their office and under their care. Staff are friendly and professional as well. This has been and will continue to be my primary care team. Highly recommended.
