They are very friendly and love your pets. When we went there with our older dog who started limping around, instead of going right for the expensive X-rays or other testing. The doctor opted for a less expensive option. Simple anti-inflammatory pills. They worked great. Love them.
When our dog Jack was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, Dr. Sullivan at Bellingham Veterinary got him into an experimental clinical trial. The cancer eventually beat Jack, but during his treatment, we were always happy with the expertise and professionalism of the folks at Bellingham Veterinary. We were especially grateful that Dr. Sullivan was always willing to discuss further treatment options whenever Jack's condition would take a bad turn. Jack also always seemed happy about his vet appointments, since he got to visit with the friendly vets and technicians, so that was a nice bonus.

Really friendly staff want to make sure your loved one is healthy. They even have separate area for cats. Left half of the building is a cats only area and is completely independent of the right half, which is for dogs. I've never seen that before but am definitely happy that they do it.
I highly recommend the team here. Dr Matt is fantastic and this is the first place I think of whenever one of our dogs needs something. You can tell they really care about the animals they see. The facilities are clean, staff is nice and the follow up is fantastic. They explain what they are doing, why they are doing it and outline the care for you in easy to understand terms. Thank you for the great work you do!

While the vet was hard to communicate with, as she kept talking over me, my dear feline was incredibly comfortable the whole visit. The two shots were given quickly and safely, and the vets rather performed the services on her on the floor rather than wrangle her onto the table. She is home and very relaxed now, amazing work by these folk!
We’ve been taking our doggo here for about 5 years, and the quality of care has always been stellar. Recently they’ve been emphasizing a more calming experience for the animals visiting, which is great for my dog who has been terrified of vets his whole life. We saw this in action on my most recent visit when they managed to draw blood without any yelping or struggling, which is a first for my dog.

Maplewood works with a number of local pet adoption agencies too. Its somewhere that we'll always recommend to others.
Andras and staff have been amazing helping us manage our dog's care. Especially answering all my worry-wart questions and being VERY understanding of her reactivity at the vet. And they support us in our more holistic approaches to her care. Feel very "heard" and understood. In love with the service thus far.

Friendly staff that truly cares about the health and well-being of your pet. Every person that we interacted with seemed to love animals, love there jobs, and genuinely want to help. Our cat had surgery here to remove a tumor, and the care she received was top notch. I hope we don't have to come back, but if we do it will be here.
We have been going there since we moved here in 2006. They have taken excellent care of our cats, our dog, and our guinea pigs. There may have been some other creatures like lizards in there as well. Smart, knowledgeable

Affordable care offered by understanding staff. They clearly care for the animals they see. They can be pretty busy on average so schedule non-emergency services early to ensure an early appointment date/time.
It's never fun having to bring your pet to the doctor but when you do you want to know exactly what's wrong and the doctors and technicians here are very thorough and knowledgeable. There is also prescription foods available to buy if your pet requires it.
