Barkley Village Family Dentistry is a Bellingham-based dental clinic operated by talented and qualified dentists. Dr. Kurt Swanson and Jessica Rogers both graduated from the University of Washington dentistry schools in 2003. They offer sports guards, preventative care, bonding, dental sealants, crown & bridge, implants crowns, teeth whitening, porcelains veneers and many more. The clinic has a team of qualified staff that offers professional services. The two dentists work with the assistance of a warm, friendly and qualified supporting staff of dental hygienists, and other administrative staff.
I phoned and got an appointment with Dr. Swanson within a few days. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff and seated in less than 10 minutes. Dr. Swanson was pleasantly professional, analyzed my problem, provided an instant, short-term remedy, and offered three possible long-term solutions with ball-park cost estimates. This allowed me to make an immediate decision and request a recommendation. His staff called to make an appointment for me with the recommended specialist, and I walked out a few minutes later having accomplished more to solve my problem in half an hour than I had managed to do with three previous dentists over the past year. Definitely five stars.
As always you were most helpful...I came for a cleaning and was served quickly and then treated gently. You always take the time to listen carefully to my requests and work to do what is appropriate for my dental care. Thank you for remaining thrifty in planning my care and doing what I need not a thing that is unnecessary. However, WE DO keep an eye on this old mouth! :-)

This is the best dentist I ever had (and I had a few). The entire staff is very professional and super nice. I have to name Dr. Schneider, Tara, Maria and Melissa who go the extra mile to make my life better. The atmosphere is so nice, you will look forward to your appointment. And yes: they do a great job keeping your teeth healthy - and if you do need a cleaning, a filling or a crown: everything they do is super gentle and without pain. They don't try to talk you into expensive procedures that are not needed. Honest, professional, straight forward and fun.
I was taken to the room for teeth cleaning soon after I arrived. The hygienist was very polite and made me feel comfortable. I have been pleased with her work, and this time was no different, and it went very nicely. Dr. Schneider was interested in how some recent work he had done was feeling and if I had any changes in my health. All in all it was a normal visit.
