From the reception desk to the experience of the Doctors here I never felt so good about stepping into a room with my son (dog) and speaking with a vet. They genuinely care so much are compassionate and understanding about pets here. Dr.Simpson is beyond AMAZING. My dog usually isn't very nice to others but she definitely had the magic touch with him. Feeling like I have a vet that isn't alarming about any condition possible has always been important to me. I just can't say enough good things about this place other than THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR YOUR KIDS. Thank you so much AMC! You guys are all awesome!
My dog is new to the city, so we just visited Animal Medical Center for the first time, and it was a great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My dog is a rescue with some anxiety, therefore he does not do well at the vet. It was still a rough visit, but the staff did a great job with him and eventually my dog calmed down and let them treat him. They also helped me get through the appointment and taught me some things to do at home to make the vet a better experience for my pup. The facility is clean and very nice!
Coming from a small town I was worried about finding a vet in Chicago that would provide the personalized care I was used to getting at home. Dr. Solomon and the staff at the Animal Medical Center of Chicago are fantastic! The care I've received has been incredible, they really seem to care about each of their clients and are great about following up after appointments to make sure things are going well. The space is also warm and inviting, which is helpful when you have a high-strung pet that hates going out. All-around great place - I'm so happy I found them!

I have been bringing my dogs, cat, rabbits to this vet for over 20 years. Dr. B is the best vet and I trust him with my pets. He has the most advanced knowledge in all areas and I derive over an hour to see him with my dogs. When he was out recovering from an injury I had to use other vets and they didn't come close to his level of ability.
Exam rooms and reception areas are always super-clean — even my most timid cat is relaxed here (which has never happened at other vets, and I have the scars to prove it!). Have been coming here for a good handful of years, at this point — pro tip: Dr. Miller is hands-down the best. Most mild-mannered and gentile, soft-spoken and exceptionally engaged. Have seen most/all(?) of the other staff vets over the years… can't say I'm a fan of all (and there's a couple I'd never go to again)… but Dr. Miller's presence keeps up coming back as regular patients.
I started going to Burnham Park Animal Hospital in 2013. They have the kindest vets and staff, everyone is very helpful. I had to put my dog down and Dr. Tara Clack was very supportive throughout the entire process. I have since moved from the South Loop area however still travel South to Burnham for my other pets. Dr. Miller is very helpful and friendly as well. They also go over all charges with you in detail, and do not make you feel nickle and dimed or pressured. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a new vet in the area.

My mother started coming to this vet back in the 70s when she was a teenager and had gotten her first dog...40+ years later and we still drive down to Chicago from the northern suburbs to see Dr. Mike and his amazing staff. Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly. These guys do what they do because they so clearly love animals! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pups!
I've been bringing my dogs here for 17 years. This people are awsome the staff treats my dogs like family they are super nice. They never forget their names and take good care of them, Dr. Mike is the best Dr. Ever.i wouldn't change veterinarian for nothing in the world Mayfair is my second family and my dogs are happy.
My dog Kobi just had surgery to remove a huge lipoma. Dr Mike did an amazing job. Even took a papule off the lower eyelid of my dog while he was under anesthesia for no extra charge. My dog had an amazing recovery and was walking around the next day like nothing had happened. Prices are reasonable.

I love this place. I have moved around the city and continue to bring my pets here. From the front desk to the veterinarians, everyone is friendly and courteous. They are upfront about cost and what is more pressing to take care of vs what you can plan for, financially. I cannot recommend them enough.
Top notch service and peanut butter! We take our dog here for wellness visits?, in between visits when she eats things she's not supposed to, and most recently a tumor removal. The whole process was simple: drop off, updates throughout the procedure, and pickup. Dr. Gonzalez is our primary veterinarian who also performed the removal procedure. She is highly knowledgeable?, professional, and friendly. Our dog loves her and all the vet techs. They have an have endless supply of doggie talk, caresses, and peanut butter to keep our dog at ease during visits. I highly recommend. There is a parking lot across the street that is pay to park some days and limited street parking.
I had the opportunity to visit this office over the weekend when my 19 year old cat died and my usual vet's office was closed. From start to finish, the staff could not have been more empathetic and professional. They were able to quickly accommodate me on a Sunday morning. When I was ushered back to the private room, they had dimmed the lights, had a candle light, a bottle of water and tissues. I wish I would have had met the people of this fine practice before now. If you have a need for a quality, caring vet practice, I would highly recommend these folks. Thank you to everyone at Roscoe Village Animal Hospital, I will forever appreciate your kindness and compassion.

I have been to Village West Veterinary twice with my two kittens. Both times they were seen by Dr. Warren, and I had a great experience with her. She is patient, and really takes the time to listen to my concerns. She also takes the time to examine my two kittens. Dr. Warren and the vet tech help to put my kittens at ease during their many vaccinations which I know can be challenging. I would definitely recommend this vet center. The prices are very reasonable for the care they provide. Overall, a wonderful veterinary center!
From the moment you walk in the door, the staff is welcoming and kind. Annabelle is my first puppy, and everyone was lovely to both my dog and me. The veterinarian was professional and eased my mind about things I was worried about as a first time "parent." The reception area, as well as the exam rooms, are super clean.
I have a rambunctious newly adopted rescue dog who has a long way to go in terms of realizing that not every human and animal wants to be his new best friend. At 45 lbs he can be a handful when excited. The staff at Village West Veterinary were very understanding and helpful. It took 3 of us to corral him so he could get his vaccines and be thoroughly checked out but they got it done with a smile on their faces. I was able to make the appointment on short notice and they gave me lots of helpful information on options for heartworm and flee and tick prevention. Their location is convenient, parking was easy and they took us right on schedule. Really happy we found them!

We love this place. We have taken all of our animals there since we have moved into the area. The staff and docs are great. One of the Drs sits on the floor with the animals and plays and does his exam. Unfortunately we have had to put two animals down. 1 cat who went through 3 months of chemo and treatment and 1 kitten. The ENTIRE staff was awesome. They didn't rush us and they came in to check on us frequently. They even sent us a card a couple weeks later. It was so nice. Price I would say is med to high medium range but it is well worth it in the end. We have 2 cats and a dog. They are MY BABIES!!!! I only want the best for them!! And here I feel like I get it!!!
We first visited this place in an emergency in 2015 December with our 3 1/2 yr-old Beagle, Shadow. What appealed to us most was that the doctors or technicians did not try to put us in a state of panic. Nor did they try to take advantage of our helplessness & squeeze money out of us. They gave us possible options from which we made a choice. Very professional, helpful & cooperative staff. The only regret is the closing down of the Emergency unit. We have been visiting ever since. No complaints till date. Three cheers for the vets & the staff!!!
We absolutely love Dr. Sullivan. We wouldn't trust our cat to anyone else! Even after we moved away from the neighborhood we drive back so she can continue to be seen by Dr. Sullivan.
