Antolin Cellars was founded in 2007 by Tony and Linda Haralsonas a dream come true for the passionate winemakers after 10 years of home winemaking. The couple focuses on making expressive and noteworthy wines that are highly appealing in value. They source viognier, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah from Glacier- their 5-acre estate vineyard as well as from other vineyards in Columbia and Yakima Valleys.
Amazing selection of white wines (the Riesling was my favorite) and even found a few reds that I enjoyed and I usually am not a fan of reds! There was live music and I really enjoyed the little side rooms and art. Great place to hang out with friends
I really loved the atmosphere of the place and the Riesling was perfect. I definitely recommend for whites. Although, I’m typically not a fan of reds I really enjoyed and reconsidered after trying a few testers of theirs. 5 stars from me.
Gilbert Cellars was started in 2004 although the family behind it has practiced farming in the Yakima area since 1897. The family winery handcrafts true-to-varietal Washington wines and they are inspired by the way wine brings about hospitality, community and beauty. The business has a wine shop, accolades, wine clubs and vineyards. Additionally, they organize events such as Music in the Vines Concert Series as well as weddings and special events.
Great atmosphere and great wine!! Had a wonderful evening, will go back and hopefully soon!!
The Unoaked Chardonnay is my new fav! Is it available on the West side of the mountains?!
“Kana” is a native word referring to the spirit of fire within a mountain- reference to the volcanic activity in the Columbia and Yakima areas. It is that word and its spirit that permeates the soils of Kana Winery’s rich vineyards that yield high-quality and world-class wines. Mr. Palmer, the founder and proprietor serves as a wine judge and has been a hobbyist winemaker prior to setting up Kana Winery. He is a hands-on leader assisting in various winemaking procedures. The winery has won several awards and participated in numerous wine competitions. The winery also offers daily tasting, live music, and a vibrant wine club.
The owner and service are amazing. The wine is great! Dark Star is our favorite!
My honey and I visited this place first for her birthday weekend, we had such a fabulous time hanging out with the lovely hostess Moriah, enjoying the awesome atmosphere, and loving just about all the wines on the list. We had to come back for a second time round, later the next day we came back to see a hoppin' band called the stimulus package, ( I think). AND stayed for a few more hours until close.
Mill Lane Winery offers clients the opportunity to enjoy a wine created by choosing 6 out of their 35 different varieties of white, red and fruit wines. The award-winning winery won gold and silver medals at the Capital Food and Wine Festival. Besides the fruit wines, Mill Lane Winery offers a great selection of traditional grape wines that have special fruits such as Aronia Berries “a superfood” added to them.
Impress you friends by taking them to this creative winery. If you want personal attention and unique wines, this is a great place to go. Even if you are a hard core red wine drinker, you will find some fun, tasty wines. Not a mass merchant or high end boutique winery. Try the Blackberry Truffle wine. A must stop in Yakima Valley.
Ron is a fantastic host - fun unique fruit wines - free tasting and good prices. We took out of town guests there and had a great time. Will definitely return.
Proud to be referred to as the “greenest winery in Washington”, Wilridge Winery was founded in 1988 and is run in the European tradition. The business focuses on hand-crafted wines from Washington vineyards. Since 2007, Wilridge has mainly used produce from its certified Organic and Biodynamic Estate Vineyard located in Naches Heights near Yakima. Their products are available in farmer markets and vineyard tasting room as well as in the historic Madrona neighborhood in Seattle.
Cute little tasting room. Several tables in the sun and on the big wrap around porch. 5$ for 4 wine tasting, but 8$ for 4 of their wines.
Fun little place. You can hike in on the Cowiche trail system. Definately worth the trip.
