Founded in 1947 by Dr. Beardsley, Dr. Beardsley’s Super Optical, Inc. is located McAllen, Texas. Dr. Charles Beardsley (late) was a graduate of University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. My family has been going here for a few years and we like the service. The doctor takes the time to listen and answer my wife's and my questions, and the staff is nice. The wait time to see the doctor isn't usually long when we go to have our eyes checked. I'd recommend using the parking lot in the back to avoid having to pay for parking.

I love master eye associates! I decided to switch to contacts and got my eye checkup done last week. Dr. Elizabeth was very friendly and polite. She helped me with the prescription and also trained me with my contacts. She was very patient to answering my questions on Lasik, contacts, etc. I was in a time crunch and she was very kind enough to expedite/ followup and help me get the trail lens on time. Last but not least the front desk people were friendly and awesome. I would for sure recommend this place!!
I had the literal best optomety experience of my life today. I called in and they had an appointment 30 mins later. Aliyah gave me my paperwork (which is laminated/reusable and therefore eco friendly if that matters to you). She took my info and did all the preliminqry tests super efficiently. Dr. Blanchard was extremely personable and professional. I felt comfortable immediately and was in and out within like 20 minutes. Highly suggest this place.

Dr. Chang was Amazing!!! When you schedule an appointment with her, it is exactly that! She takes her time with exams and even helps selecting glasses! She was so patient and wonderful with my 4 year old. She is truly invested in her patients best interest!!!
Being this was my first time ever that I needed glasses I didn't know what to expect. First impression of the clinic was it looked dated from the interior. But that was my only negative of this place. All the associates were very friendly and nice Dr. Venessa Chang was great. And I'm happy that I can see again

I have been going to Dr. Olivarez for a few years now. When I began having some issues, I sincerely appreciated how thoroughly he evaluated the possibilities and worked to rule out possible serious diseases of the eye. He is knowledgeable and friendly. I would never trust something as valuable to my eyes to just anyone. I do trust them to him.
