I have been wearing contacts for 8 years and always intended to have Lasik surgery, yet never felt enough confidence in the doctors to undergo the surgery. I first visited Dr. Salem in January for an eye infection and the truly cared about getting me better. I was leaving for Europe in 2 days and he immediately rushed me in to start treatment. He prescribed the medicine and checked on me again before I departed. While in Europe, he kept in touch through his cell phone just to ensure my eye was healing properly. This great experience provided me the confidence to explore Lasik with Dr. Salem and his team. They coached me through the entire process and the surgery went perfect. The evening after the surgery, Dr. Salem was available for me to call him with any questions or concerns I had. He ensured me that everything I was experiencing was completely normal. The next day (which was a Saturday), I met with him at the office again just to make sure that the surgery was still healing as planned. My vision during this visit was 20/15, well beyond the goal of 20/20. I would recommend Diagnostic Eye Center to anyone who is considering Lasik yet struggling with the confidence to make the leap.

Dr. Khong is an absolute sweetheart! That had to be the single fastest and most understanding eye exam of my life. They got my insurance information over the phone, so everything happened as quick as lightning. They do no sell frames here! You get sent over to EyeMasters next door to pick out your frames. This actually makes the entire process much faster. I had 2 new pairs of glasses 1 hour and 45 minutes after stepping into Master Eye Associates. I just had to pick them up before the mall closed. :)
