Excellent work, excellent staff, excellent service; as always. In again today (2/13/18) for cleaning and checkup. As I eat a lot of blueberries, drink coffee, and red wine, my teeth are often stained when I come in. The hygienist polished my teeth prior to using a scaler to get the stains off. It seemed to work as she had to do very little scaling this time. I really appreciate her creative thinking.

Have been a patient of Higbee dental for just over a year now. Last week my 94 year old father came to visit me for 3 weeks from Connecticut. Shortly after he arrive one of his crowns came off his tooth. The exposed tooth that was underneath the crown was very rough and immediately began to bother him, he was also having trouble chewing. I called Higbee dental and they scheduled an appointment for him the NEXT day at noon. Awesome! Dr.Higbee examined him and found that the tooth was extremely decayed. He told us that he would try to glue the crown back on but that the tooth needed extraction or to be gound smooth but that the crown might hold for 6 minutes or 6 months and that if it didn't hold to call immediately and he would fit my dad in that day to grind the tooth smooth. He said that under normal circumstances he would not have glued the tooth because it really wasn't likely to last and that he didn't want to charge us for a fix that really wasn't going to work in the long or possibly short term !! So this guy skips lunch to fit my dad in then waves the the fees for his work. Pretty amazing!! I wish more businesses and professionals worked like this! Dr. Holly and his staff are great. Also, today was the first time I had an anesthetic dental wand used, as opposed to a manual injection. It was truly painless and the anesthetic worked better than the last few times I had dental work and was given anesthetic with a traditional needle and syringe. Today was also the first time I had a crown made (actually two crowns today) and placed all in one visit (less than three hours). The newer computer aided design and crown building technology saves a lot time and the crowns are of great quality.
Dr. Holly and his staff at West River Dental are simply the best. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with friendly staff and feel a sense of ease. Everything is explained thoroughly and you can expect that Dr. Holly will give you his honest opinion. It’s very obvious that Dr. Holly takes pride in his work and you can feel confident that you are getting the best quality care. His office is up to date with technology — they offer the “wand” which makes the numbing process a breeze and CERCE machine which has allowed me to get a crown in one visit.
