Donald Trischetta got into private practice in the late 90s in the Clifton area. He is the founder of Allwood Optical that deals with issuing lenses and glasses. Dr. Trischetta conducts thorough exams before prescribing the right frames or contact lenses to his patients. Patients can also get their eyeglasses repaired at a friendly price. The office stocks eyewear from respectable and top brands in the market. Donald also stocks safety glasses and sunglasses.
I hate to echo previous reviews, but what else is there to say? Allwood Optical was a great find. Donald was extremely personable and approachable, and he was more than happy to answer my series of inquiries about frames. The store itself is neat, tidy, and tasteful and located in a nice area, right next to a school and well-kept apartment complexes. Prices are marked right on the frames themselves making for easy price comparison, and communication with Donald was clear and concise as well. He even tallies up the total price before ringing up the bill, and you have the option to pay in full or leave a deposit before your glasses arrive. A pleasant and easy experience all the way.
What a great experience! I am so happy that we found Allwood Optical Boutique. The service was excellent and the owner is very concerned about helping you to get what is best for you and not what product will make a better profit. My husband and I have definately found a new place for eye glasses and contacts. They have that personal touch that only a one of a kind store can provide as appose to a chain.

Some of the center’s specific services include laser vision correction, cataracts, retina, Glaucoma, cosmetic eyelid surgery, external disease, Botox, facial fillers, blepharoplasty, brightening peel, keratoconus, irregular astigmatism, and aphakia. The ophthalmologists are passionate and give advice accordingly to the patients. The fees are quite affordable, and they accept insurance from a few companies.

In 1987 Dr. Bruce Mazie opened the doors of New Jersey eyes to the community in Clifton and its neighboring communities. He got his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Virginia in 1981. Some eye conditions they care for include cataracts, dry eye, strabismus, ocular allergies, myopia, glaucoma, amblyopia, computer vision syndrome, low vision, hyperopia, and keratoconus among other pediatric conditions. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
Dr Mazie is a great doctor, super friendly and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. He's great at explaining his thoughts and advice and what he thinks is best for you. I've been going to him for 5 years, and I wouldn't think to go anywhere else. I was dropped off my parent's insurance at age 23 and as soon as I got my own insurance, I made sure Dr. Mazie accepted it because I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Dr. Mazie is OUTSTANDING! After visiting several doctors, I still couldn't see clearly. I didn't know what was wrong with my vision; if my prescription was incorrect or if my astigmatism was off, but something seemed wrong for a while. I came to Dr. Mazie, and he figured it all out because he took the time to do so. He's incredibly friendly and so understanding. My first visit and will be returning! Thank you, Dr. Mazie!!

The staff is courteous and always willing to assist in whichever way the client needs when it comes to selection and inquiries.
Wonderful staff and service!!! I got glasses from there at least three times now. They really take their time to help you, make recommendations based on your style and preferences and make sure you are satisfied with your decision. Turn around is very quick!
Absolutely love this place. Dr. Laila Abbas is very helpful, caring and informative. The girls at the front desk are an absolute pleasure - they are so nice, helpful and a delight to speak with. Prices are reasonable and the service is great.

The shop mainly deals with the sale of designer eye wear and some of those brands include Gucci, Prada, Vogue, Ray-ban, Armani, Coach, Acuvue, Oakley, a new day, and Air Optix among other designer brands. The shape of the face and frame, skin tone, color of frame, and material are all well thought of before a patient is given glasses or contact lenses. The prices are super friendly and easily affordable considering the brand and quality of the eye wear.
I called at 11am and they told me they could see me the same day. There was no long wait. The staff and Dr. Kardos were amazing. Very helpful and very pleasant. I love this place.
Dr. Kardos is awesome!! She is charismatic and explains everything during the exams so you are super comfortable. I come here for my eye exams and contact lenses, and I usually order my glasses online. The store has a small variety of frames as compared to a more established practice, and they don't usually have the more trendier styles. I was looking for clear acetate frames or red frames for my glasses, and they only had a few "clear" frames that weren't really the look I was looking for. It is so convenient going to see my eye doctor at my local Target instead of their own location!
