Overall I have had excellent service here for my 3 dogs. I have been to other vets in Santa Barbara (since my first dog in 1973) with previous pets and have not been satisfied. I tried Foothill and Dr Rittenberg on recommendation after I got a new dog. I was very happy with the care and prices. He did a serious surgery on one of my "girls" and she pulled thorough fine, healed fast, and the cost was reasonable for what she had done. I expected a bill much higher than it was. I office is clean, friendly, and convenient to Hwy 154.
They are very kind to my dog, despite his rambunctious behavior. I also just like the feeling of the building as well.

Very professional. Passionate doctors. They treat my dogs for the past 5 years and have proven to be the go to place to all your Veterinarian care needs
One of our dogs had an emergency on a Saturday evening. We took her to the ER but she needed follow-up and I didn't want to go back to the Emergency hospital. We were so lucky to be referred to Dr. Sahyouni. San Roque Pet Hospital is open 7 days a week and they were kind enough to squeeze us in on a Sunday. Honestly, I can't say enough about the wonderful Dr. S! She is so compassionate, thorough, kind, respectful of my desires and all around fabulous. She guided us through this crisis and we are so grateful. My dog couldn't have gotten better care and the entire staff is kind, caring and professional.

Treatments offered include physical examination, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter surgery, vaccination and senior health care.
I had a fantastic experience here. My interactions with the staff and the veterinarian were very straightforward. The vet was thoughtful in addressing my concerns and questions, and the staff were honest about what treatments/vaccines might be necessary vs. not. Overall, I had a great experience here. Most importantly, the staff obviously cared about my pet's comfort and care, which is a major plus.
The most compassionate and flexible Vets ever! My darling St. Bernard was quite a character (and hand-full at 200 pounds) and they accommodated his needs and always made the Vet visits as easy as possible. Can't say enough good things about the entire staff. Front desk people are helpful and friendly. Dr. Kellye Harmon is simply the most caring person and she was available on the phone with us to answer any concern during my dog's last days....even stayed late to make sure he got the right medication. St. Francis takes after their name sake...look no further for the best vets in town. Our cat still goes there and so will our next dog!

These people love my dogs. Who are nuts. So if your dogs are less nuts than mine they'll probably love them too.
They have helped us with our cats and dogs for 25 years. With each pet we learned to manage complex medical problems during the geriatric years due to White's guidance. And we've seen the same thing happen with friends who's pets seemed to be on their last legs. White's gave them hope, education, and a few more years. All three vets we've worked with have been outstanding. And they've been well balanced and supportive during the toughest decisions, with equal understanding of what our animals needed and what we could manage. We travel from western Goleta to see them because they are unmatched in Santa Barbara.
