Dr. Wilson is amazing! Seems extremely knowledgeable and is very thorough. She spent a lot of time carefully explaining our options when my cat broke a bone in his paw and listened patiently to all of our questions and concerns. I trust my cat going here more than anywhere else I’ve taken my animals so far.
I am a mom to a "difficult patient" (she even scares me when we go to the vet), but Dr. Carter has always been super compassionate and caring with my baby, even when she's growling and spitting. She does a great job of paying attention to my reactions and reassuring me as well! I also feel well-informed about the diagnosis and treatment options, and when my cat needed some teeth extracted, Dr. Carter did a great job. She and the office staff are also willing to file claims to my pet insurance for me, which is great! I highly recommend this place.
Dr. Kelly Smith is the leader of the Smith’s Veterinary Service. They provide in-house services for cats and dogs and their services include nutritional counseling, acupuncture, and wellness care. The team utilizes an integrative approach wherein it collaborates with local specialists and the owner of the pet to provide the best healthcare for the pet. The Smith’s Services are available on weekdays from 9 -5 PM with the exception of Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
I would give 10 stars, or 100 if I could. We had to put down our absolutely beloved dog, and Dr. Kelly was phenomenal. She was warm, professional, gave us all the time we needed, and for every second of an incredibly hard hour, she took care of all of us - the humans and the dog. Dr. Kelly is wonderful. Thank you.
Dr. Kelly is great! We recently started using her when our 'puppy girl' couldn't get out of the house for medical attention. Dr. Kelly is passionate, smart and takes her time. We really like that she uses the best of western and eastern philosophies--using whatever fits best for the situation. She takes the time to look at root causes. She's a good person also. Unfortunately, our girl lost her fight but dr. Kelly was there for a very compassionate ending
The state of the art hospital specializes in dentistry, internal medicine, and dermatology. Urban Pet has top-notch services from cancer treatment to ultrasounds for pets and dogs. It also has surgery services for cats and dogs which makes it even more preferred by the locals. They have an emergency unit for those moments when a pet acts up unexpectedly. The licensed veterinarians also work with nearby specialists for times when the client’s pet needs a referral. The hospital is operational seven days a week from 8-9 AM.
We have been going to Urban Pet Hospital for over a year now. We used to take our 13 year old boxer Sarge there until we had to put him down. During this time, Dr Garg and his team have treated us like family. When it was time to put Sarge down he shut down his office for us and came to our apartment. Although this was a very tough time for both my wife and I, Dr Garg and his team made it easier. Now we have our new puppy Smitty. Even though we've now moved out of the city, we still make the trip in to the Marina to see Dr Garg and team because we couldn't think of having anyone else care for our new pup.
They deserve 10 stars. The doctors and staff at Urban Pet Hospital go above and beyond with every patient. The patient always comes first with them, and in my experiences with them they have always spent as much time as I needed answering all of my questions and concerns. Words can never go far enough to describe how much we appreciated Urban Pet Hospital.
This hospital was started in 1984 by Dr. Guduri and has a team of highly qualified and experienced veterinarians. Dr. Noah Stroe has since been in charge of the team providing quality professional pet services to the residents in San Francisco. They have a range of services that they offer such as boarding, diagnostic, preventive, and surgical, treatment and pet wellness services. The hospital makes use of modern tools and equipment to care for the pets. The team also educates the pet owners on how to care for the pets to avoid preventable accidents and illnesses.
My Golden Retriever was 2 days away from dying. Her symptoms looked like something more routine to my untrained eye. Dr. Guduri and his staff took swift action to save her life by doing emergency surgery and staying until 830pm when I could pick her up. Without he and his staff taking this immediate action, Diva would be in doggie heaven. The timing was very bad for me financially but he said "We are here to help animals" and he worked with me. His caring and gentle way put Diva at ease and put me at ease. I have been going to Animal Farm for many years and was unsure about the recent change in ownership from Dr. Noah to Dr. Guduri. My fears were unfounded. Dr. Guduri is soft spoken and the animals really appreciate how he lets them acclimate to being at the vet's office which is usually very scary. I thank you, Dr. Guduri and so does Diva!
I have been going to Animal Farm for over 30 years and I wouldn't keep going if I wasn't totally happy. The staff is kind and Noah is very caring and smart-not someone who over treats or afraid to send you to a specialist if needed. Dr. G is the main doctor now with Noah there a few times a week. I have as much confidence in him as I did with Noah. The office has been nicely remodeled but more importantly the service is great and I will continue taking my dogs there.
Bishop Ranch is a merger of two veterinary clinics owned by DR. Kerr and Drs. Delano and Utchen. The clinic was started with an aim of providing better services to the community. The new facility was designed by an award-winning architectural firm and was officially open to the public in 2000. The care center has over 100 qualified and licensed employees making it one of the biggest veterinary hospitals in San Francisco. They care for cats, dogs, and exotic animals and are registered with American Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
I've been bringing my pit bull here for years. What's nice for us is that the staff treats us like every other customer. Although people who work with animals are more accepting in general, I have always felt like my dog and I are so welcome and comfortable at Bishop Ranch. It's so nice to smiles rather than be greeted with looks of dismay and disgust (although I can't say the same about some of the other customers). I'm please to bring my furry child to be cared for at this facility, thank you all for your great service and compassion.
To us Truman, (aka the world's most handsome Frenchie) is like the Hope Diamond: rare, beautiful and should be treated like royalty. And that's how he is treated at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center. His doctor, Dr. James Pogrel, is beyond knowledgable, super kind and very personable. We are always treated with respect and Truman receives nothing less than 5 star service and incredible care. From check in to check out BRVC treats you like family...the royal family. Seriously, they're awesome.
Dr. Araba Oglesby has an extensive experience on pets for over 25 years. She has cared for cats, dogs and even monkey throughout her practice. Her hospital uses a combination of traditional western medicine with complementary medicine to ensure your pet gets the best care. Her team takes home calls and is very responsive. Blue Sparrow has many services to offer including preventive and wellness care, complementary holistic care and hospice and compassionate euthanasia.
My dog Riley is family and as such it is of utmost importance to make sure he feels safe. He has reactivity issues with strangers and gets very anxious having to go to the veterinary office. It was recommended to me by my trainer to try Dr Araba and team....and I can't say how relieved I am.....by the second visit Riley was fine with her sitting behind him and doing body exam....Yhe best! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Dr Araba recently helped me put my beloved 13-y.o. FIV positive cat to sleep after cancer and nerve damage got the better of him. She is an amazing vet who really takes time to listen to the owner and observe the animal and make the most gentle and respectful recommendations. The process obviously sucked but each time she and her tech (Ann for the initial visit; Melissa for the actual day; both great) took every opportunity to be considerate and thoughtful, from just knocking on the door instead of ringing the doorbell to how thoroughly they explained what would happen. I never felt rushed and it was peaceful and loving. I am so grateful.
