When my husband and I started planning our wedding about a year ago we knew one of the most important things would be the photography. We booked a handful of appointments and knew right away when we met with Brittany and Joe that we needed to work with them! What sets them a part is that they are BOTH very talented and will capture incredible moments from different vantage points. They are the right balance of providing great direction to ensure the lighting and angles will be great but still allow for the moments to play themselves out! They make a great team and all the logoistics worked out perfectly. Our wedding could not have gone smoother & we had so much fun being photographed! We can't wait to see our photos and will cherish them forever!

Brittany and Joe are SERIOUSLY the best. We did our research amongst Seattle photographers, and are SO happy we went with Blue Rose. Not only are our wedding photos absolutely amazing, but our engagement photos blew our minds! The entire process was fun and enjoyable, and they really took the time to get to know us and understand our hopes for the photos. I cannot say enough good things about these two, besides BOOK THEM!! You will love every photo.

The most difficult task for us was to find a good photographer. We were so lucky to have Chris. He was very professional and experienced. He responded to our emails quickly and worked with us to plan out the day. He was also very helpful with the day timeline. He provided invaluable advice as to timing, explaining how much time was needed for different types of pictures. I'm happy that I listened to his advice because it really made the whole day smooth and just perfect. On the day of the wedding he came to the venue early and found the best place for our first look and family photos. He was able to capture our wedding day and highlight all the right moments. We got our photos very fast and couldn't be happier with them, they were phenomenal! He and his assistant were able to capture such amazing footage that I did not know was possible. Chris has made our memorable day last forever with the images he captured!!

I have used Folk & Lore now for over 8 years for all occasions of my life. Whether it be an accidental fake wedding proposal or the real wedding proposal, they have been there the entire way. They are beyond great at what they do because of who they are as people. They genuinely care for how your day turns out knowing that these pictures will last a lifetime. I will continue to use them whenever I have even the slightest chance and will brag on them to whomever comes in ear shot of me, which if you knew me, means a lot of people will hear.

Zach and Larissa were absolutely amazing! We loved our pictures and will cherish them for the rest of our lives. I love how they captured moments that we would otherwise have missed because it all passed by so quickly. I adore all the candid photos and the way they didn't capture just us, but how we were feeling in each moment. They caught the joy and love on our faces and those of our family and friends. They managed to be present for every special moment, but also disappear into the background. Basically, they are the best!!!

Lazzat was amazing!! It's so hard to express how hard she worked yet how easy she made it look and feel for us. She made the whole day flow and the wedding be enjoyed while still getting so many moments and memories captured. I can say that when you hire Lazzat photography you get the best service and friend. I can't tell Lazzat how much we love her work or how amazing she really is.

Lazzat did such a phenomenal job capturing our company party! She showcased our 1920's themed holiday party with shots of every detail and found every little moment our staff shared. Even with 130 guests, raffles, casino games and a dance floor, she was able to get amazing shots of nearly every person, both candid and portrait, and made us all look as fabulous as we felt. On top of being an amazing photographer, Lazzat is just the nicest person to work with. For days after the party, my staff approached me to tell me how kind and professional our photographer was and I've already gotten requests to use her again at our next party. Thanks Lazzat!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Booked - pre-engagement shoot (3 hours) in Hong Kong - February 2017. My fiancee and I were a bit apprehensive about being "models" for the day as we thought it would be a bit awkward - but Nick made us feel super at ease from the very start. The day turned out to be very fun and not awkward at all. More importantly, the pictures he produced were amazing - light, candid and captured our happiness and closeness perfectly. My father is the world's harshest critic when it comes to photos and even he thought they were great!! Nick over-delivered in every aspect and has been so thoughtful throughout so couldn't recommend him highly enough! Tom is a fantastic, highly skilled photographer. He is extremely friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He knows how to work with a couple, or a whole wedding party to make the most of the environment and the people. After a couple of meetings with Tom my wife and I felt like we had established a very good relationship and we could not wait for our shoots. Our engagement shoot was tons of fun. Tom kept it fun and exciting, but knew exactly where to go and how to direct us for each background. Tom also has lots of great ideas for where to do shoots, so even if you don’t know the area very well, Tom can help out big time. He was also excited to share some of his vendor contacts with us, and offered to help us out with any other aspects of our wedding that he may have some knowledge in. We also felt like his pricing was very reasonable and that we got every penny’s worth and then some. We are absolutely thrilled that we chose to go with Tom. He played a major role in making our wedding the most exciting day of our lives.

Tom has a great eye! He was truly able to capture my daughter's personality! Tom had great suggestions regarding location and provided a great selection of photos. My daughter's senior photos will be ones we will cherish for years!
