Beth is amazing and a pleasure to work with! She remains flexible throughout the entire event (which is a big plus for all the other vendors she’s working with) and works hard to get the best shots (which is a big plus for all her clients). Her laid back but professional approach puts her clients at ease and that comes through in all her pictures.

You only get one chance to capture your wedding day, and I am so thankful we chose Beth to capture ours! She went above and beyond for us, and her kind spirit and upbeat personality really helped to set us at ease on our wedding day! Our wedding photos are amazing, and I couldn't be happier with them. I am trying to find the most promising words to say when I talk about our wedding photographer, Kirstyn Marie, from Kirstyn Marie Photography. My daughter, Morgan, has had several very nice photographers in her life. From photos taken for Miss Chesapeake, Senior portraits and then again College pictures, we have grown to know of many in our area. Initially, I thought I knew what photographer Morgan would choose for her wedding, but I was wrong. My daughter was lucky enough to witness one of her best friends experiences and instantly knew she was using Kirstyn for her very own wedding. Almost instantly, Morgan fell in love with Kirstyn’s work. My daughter began her close relationship to Kirstyn initially by showing up at Sweet Briar College with her fiancé to shoot engagement photos. Greg is not in to photo shoots at all, but Morgan just knew, Kirstyn would make him feel comfortable. She and her husband certainly brought out the best in my kids. Greg and Morgan both, could not stop bragging about their engagement shoot. The pictures were perfect and it was very difficult to choose the best ones…. They were all done with perfection and thought. Both kids came home completely happy with their experience. Months pass by and it is time for Morgan’s bridal session. This wonderful occasion was when I got to witness Kirstyns skills for myself. She took us all over New Kent Winery….. on a hot and humid day. Kirstyn managed to make so many pictures look as if Morgan should be in a Bridal magazine. She cared deeply about my daughter, not as a client, but as a friend. Kirstyn offered Morgan advice and I could see Kirstyn look at my daughter with friendship and love. Kirstyn Marie was our photographer last Saturday at New Kent Winery during Hurricane Matthew. I simply cannot express the complete positive experience Kirstyn made for all of us... IN A HURRICANE!!!! Kirstyn arrived at our hotel and shot special pictures all morning. She is a new mommy and left her baby boy back home for the first time and would not allow her personal stress affect shooting the best wedding pictures that she could. She made my daughter and son in laws wedding the BEST it could ever be, by catching any moment she could. My daughter was offered video services and refused to allow us to spend any more money…. She just knows and trusts Kirstyn to capture exactly what she wants. My daughter thought her wedding would be outdoors… with natural lighting. We HAD to move it inside. Kirstyn made sure, to find some place to get outdoor photos, as my daughter had initially wanted. It may be pouring rain, but she found a way….. The reception tent was supposed to be open and beautiful, well the winds and rain were so hard, we had to close the plastic sides.... Kirstyn shot with her assistant ALL NIGHT. I am so in love with all of the sneak peak pictures. I am so impressed. To top things off, our catering company was supposed to serve the photographers meals just like ours. I have heard from someone else, she and her assistant photographer did not receive theirs and I still have not heard her complain yet. THANK YOU SO MUCH KIRSTYN. I owe you a dinner. The catering company will not get such a nice review. Just saying….. We love you and recommend anyone we know to use Kirstyn Marie Photography. SHE IS THE BEST!!

Scott was wonderful to work with. He is professional, personable, and made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot. Scott did a great job capturing the beautiful vineyard and our photos were beyond anything we could have imagined. I highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed with the quality and creativity skills.

Truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Scott to capture our special day in photographs. He is absolutely incredible at what he does, and we are beyond thrilled with our wedding photos. Scott is able to capture beautiful moments and emotions, and his work is impeccable. In addition, he is friendly, laid back with a very calming presence, funny, and a pleasure to work with. My husband is NOT a fan of having his picture taken, to put it mildly, and Scott is probably the only photographer on earth capable of pulling off what he did on our wedding day. My husband was at ease, smiling and laughing, and totally comfortable with Scott, even if he's still not a fan of posing for the camera. :) He is the perfect person to have around on your wedding day! I am endlessly grateful to Scott for creating beautiful memories for us and for our families that we will always treasure, for the close personal attention he paid us, and for the great care, effort, and attention to detail he puts into his work with couples before, during, and after the wedding day.
