Great to have a full service professional photo lab still in the area. Only a couple left and these are still running because they are good. Worth the trip and the money. They don't cut corners and it shows. I've been behind the scenes and know that they are good.

We just worked with Jada and David for a maternity boudoir shoot. We did not know exactly what to expect going into it and we were both nervous, but the experience was awesome! Jada and David were extremely professional, and there were never any awkward times. They guided and walked us right through the entire shoot. Michael Simon was one of the first vendors we booked, and one of my favorite vendors by far. He was awesome at helping my husband and I come up with the vibe we wanted for the day and what kind of pictures would work best at our venue. At our planning meeting a couple months before he seemed genuinely interested in us and excited to take pictures of our wedding. I left feeling excited myself. On our wedding day, Michael and his second photographer, Ethan, showed up early and were very flexible in getting all the portraits done before the ceremony even when we got a bit behind schedule. During the reception they were all over the place capturing the best moments and I can't wait to see the final pictures!

Our entire wedding day, my groom and I kept saying Michael was worth every penny. We met with several photographers and knew from the moment we met him that he just got us. He has a calm demeanor, which was important knowing we were going to spend the entire wedding day together. We wanted someone that didn’t just take portrait/posey pictures but had a photojournalistic style. He had never shot at our venue before and met with us the week before to scope out the church/reception space. He also helped review our timeline to make sure we were allowing enough time to ensure he captured what we wanted. The day of he was on time and prepared. His assistant was also fantastic and so nice. He was the perfect blend of the calm demeanor we wanted on a hectic day, but also assertive enough to direct a large group of people and keep the family photos moving. A week after the wedding we received a sneak peak of about 15 pictures. We then received the rest of the shots exactly 6 weeks after the wedding. hey were incredible. He captured some really great moments with a really artistic style. I couldn't be happier and would book him all over again if I had the choice!

Michael Simon photographed our wedding in May 2013. There is no way we could have been happier with him. He was warm, open, and extremely professional throughout the planning process. He walked us through all the package options without ever pushing to upsell. We had a small Christian wedding with a big Hindu wedding the next day, and he did both in lieu of the Wedding/Engagement Shoot package. He was great to have around and put everyone at ease. At both weddings many guests commented on how great the photographer was. All this praise before we even saw the pictures!! And the photographs are absolutely amazing. They are so beautiful and captured so many great moments, a year and a half later we are still pulling taking out the album just to flip through. EVERY time someone sees our pictures they comment on how great they are, and how we must have had an amazing photographer. (As a side note, Mike was able to capture all the colors of an Indian wedding, and stand up to the challenge of getting really beautiful and well lit pictures of a pasty blonde girl with an Indian man.)

Tiffany is wonderful to work with. She is super easy going, flexible, a good communicator, and extremely professional yet personable. She took so many amazing photos of our special day, and definitely delivered on her "joyful organic storytelling" description of her style. Our wedding photos look like a fairy tale story book, and my wife and I were totally comfortable and able to be ourselves the entire time. We would highly recommend working with Tiffany for artfully crafted and meaningful images for your important event.

Tiffany was the perfect person to have document our wedding! She was so fun and easy to work with; my now-husband and I were both in our last year of medical school while planning our wedding and she was so flexible in working with us. She managed to take our engagement photos on, no joke, the ONE day we had available to do them! And then the day of our wedding she was just a dream - super fun to hang out with, kept our whole wedding party laughing and having a great time, and the photos turned out just amazing!! Sam Dixon Photography is AWESOME!!! My husband and I had Sam shoot our wedding photos and he went above and beyond our expectations. Every moment of our special day was captured which meant a lot because it seemed to fly by so quickly. Now we have the joy of going through our photo album and reminiscing on those moments almost one year later. I really can't say enough good things about Sam! Our wedding pictures turned out beautifully and his pricing was not astronomical like a lot of other photographers can be. Sam was super professional, friendly, responsive and overall a pleasure to work with. And his services branch across the DC and Richmond area, which worked perfectly for me and my husband. Since we got married in Richmond, VA we wanted a photographer local to that area, so we wouldn't have to pay additional travel cost. Sam was perfect because he was able to do our engagement session in Washington, DC (which is where we reside) and then complete the wedding in Richmond. The pictures for both were great and even his assistant photographer was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Sam to anyone who wants gorgeous wedding pictures and wants to work with a true professional. Even my wedding guests commented on how great he and his assistant were and how they didn't miss a moment between the two of them. Don't take my work for it. The video is stilling being edited, but I am sure it will be perfect.

I wanted to say the BIGGEST THANK YOU for all you have done for our family in photographing our first son, Benjamin's first year. We would never have been able to capture what you all have on our own and for that I am truly grateful. Our monthly sessions were so much fun and I cant believe the year is over already. I have loved seeing my little guy grow through your lens and to see how Jamie interacts with Benjamin month after month was so fun to witness! He truly is top notch! And Mary, I know everything you do behind the scenes to make this all happen with coordinating schedules and all the post production stuff, you are a star as well! Things took an unexpected turn throughout the year when we were able to coordinate Ben's photo sessions with out of town family members, and I want to thank you guys for being so accommodating and snapping memories of them as well. Because of you, we will now have photos to display on our walls from our son's first year of life with his grandparents, great grandparents, great aunts, and even great great aunts just to name a few, all who live out of state and don't get to see him often. Capturing generations of love for this little guy would not have been possible without you two. Also immortalized were some deeply sentimental photos of little Benjamin with my grandpa Ben's cross necklace in the session with Benjamin's great Aunt Lori, and also his wedding ring in the session with his Great Grandma. I can not look at the photos without getting teary and just thinking about how special our son is and how much he is like his Great Great Grandfather who is no longer with us. So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. What you do is not just take photos or create art... you make people smile. And you have made us all smile so much this year, month after month. I cant sing your praises enough and I just wanted you both to know that.

I think they offer premium services that are quality pictures. I wish I could give a "4.9" instead of '5 stars' because they are very expensive, however, these are the heirloom type of pictures. The types of pictures that I really recommend them for is those needing generational photos, graduation, confirmations, wedding, etc... they are the perfect place to go! They were so good with my son (who is very shy) in capturing him and his personality for his graduation pictures. I highly recommend Hayes & Fisk Photography!

Hayes & Fisk are the BEST photographers in Richmond! Jamie Hayes and Jessica Arnest photographed our wedding and reception on October 10, 2015 and they were fantastic! They made a point to get to know us as more than clients prior to our ceremony, and because of that they truly captured our nature and “true selves” in every shot. From the very first photo of us getting ready to the very last one of us leaving in a golf cart through a grand sparkler exit, they didn’t miss a beat or a shot! Our family and friends have remarked about what a great job they did and how professional and efficient they were.
