Dr. Heath and the entire staff are LITERALLY AWESOME. Down-to-earth, informative, helpful, corrective when needed... just all around great folks to fork over hundreds of dollars to in the name of your pet! Wait time is always reasonable and if they are running behind they speak to you about it and make eye contact with real humans. They treat all pets with love and if they served beer there I would stay longer.
One of the best vets I’ve ever come in contact with, the docs and staff care about the animals (which is rare anymore). They always want what is best for the animal and family when dealing with any issues. I would recommend them to everyone.

My Bulldog, George Burns and I have been friends and he a patient of this amazing animal hospital for 10 1/2 years. It's not easy taking care of a senior Bulldog, and they truly have extended his life and quality of life. Best vets ever!
I adopted a non-kitten in November 2012. He was approximately 7, and while generally healthy, his dental needs grew each year. Dr. Sim took great care of his teeth with each visit and with a well thought-out long-term plan. This Spring, Drs. Garner and Frye and the staff also expertly and carefully assessed him on a journey that ultimately turned out to be cancer. They also took good care of his human. It became clear that nearly everyone in the building had a role to play in dealing with me and my cat during various visits and procedures over the years - I really appreciate the thorough, professional, caring treatment. And an extra-special thanks to Dr. Frye and Cindy at our final appointment. Sincerely, Greg Vineyard, Asheville

Founded by Dr. Scott E. Pickett and his brother Stewart in 2005, Best Friends Mobile Veterinary Clinic serves pets patients in Hendersonville, Black Mountain, and Asheville regions. Dr. Pickett is a graduate of Louisiana State University: School of Veterinary Medicine and a doctorate holder in Veterinary Medicine.
Suffice it to say, Best Friends Mobile Vet is the ONLY stress free vet experience I have ever known. If your pet finds the car ride, the vet office, the other animals, etc. stressful, then the entire experience can be stressful for all. My rescue cats are asleep on the window sill when the vet arrives and Best Friends is extremely gentle, careful, and considerate when handling my cats and working with them in their mobile clinic. While I may pay a little extra for the convenience of at-home care, for me it is worth every dollar. They handle ALL my vet needs in my driveway.

My cat is 17 years old with a thyroid condition. Several times a year he needs to go to the vet to have blood drawn to check his levels. Additionally he is on a special diet. The front office staff is very friendly and get you checked in and out quickly. The vet and the technicians are on time for the appointment which is helpful with my busy schedule. Additionally they are open from 7a.m. To 9 p.m. to accommodate work schedules. Dr. Henry is great and very thorough. She calls me with lab results and is good about explaining the medical condition and remedy. This is a top-notch facility and I strongly recommend them,,
I love Charlotte Street AH! I typically see Dr. Amber or Dr. Henry, although I have never had a bad experience with any of the other doctors. Recently I have been to see Dr. Henry as my cat has been sick. Dr. Henry was so very sweet with Claire, and also took the time with me to determine why she has been so stressed lately. Dr. Henry was just as patient with me as she was with Claire, and now Claire is on her way to feeling better. This is a very caring animal hospital, for pets as well as their owners!

I found a group of passionate, professional, active listeners, observant, suggestive and cost effective care plan for Willow. Thank you! I heard positive energy on my first phone call. I felt the positive energy the first day I stopped by.
Far and away the best vet clinic I have ever been to. All staff are friendly, take the time to answer all questions fully, and are gentle with the pets. My dog has needed several minor surgeries over the years and redwood performed them at nearly a quarter of the cost compared to what I had previously been paying elsewhere.
