Love this Clinic! Dr. Rooney and Dr Holt are amazing. Dr Holt saved my dog's life when no other vet would help me in town!
Dr. Andrea Kennedy is the owner of the animal clinic located on Woodson Rd, Raytown MO. She started the clinic soon after graduating from Kansas State University in 1988. The team at Kennedy’s Animal Clinic is experienced in the field of veterinary and works as hard as it can to ensure the small animals are well. Some of the services to expect at the clinic include pet grooming, companion therapy laser, boarding facilities, full-service dentistry, and vaccinations.
Dr.Kennedy and her group of ladies are absolutely outstanding. To say she treats her patients and their owners like family is an understatement. From bringing in my puppy for first shots, to magnificent ear crops, standard shots, major surgeries, emergency surgeries and saying goodbye to our fur baby. She was amazing. She was there for advice and guidance and loved my baby as I did. I will forever bring all my fur babies to her. Thank you Dr.Kennedy and all the ladies that work at this clinic!
Dr Kennedy and all of her staff are truly amazing. Myself and my pup never feel like a #. There is genuine care and concern at a great price. They do not rip you off like a lot vets do in the city. I drive 40+ minutes just to have great care for my pup. Highly recommend them!
In 1994 Drs. Kathy Moore and Julie Dyer combined forces to offer veterinary services to the residents of Lakewood. The two women wanted to integrate their careers with their personal family life and the health center allowed them just that. They work with three other female veterinarians in their clinic which has services in medicine and surgery, digital X-ray grooming and boarding, kitten and puppy care, petography, pet behavior and diet, and emergencies.
We adopted a shelter dog and two days later encountered significant health problems. We called and they were able to get us in right away. The facility is well-kept, staff are very friendly, and the vet staff are thorough and provide a solid treatment plan for your furry friend. My only comment is that this facility is VERY pricey in comparison to even other vets that we had when we lived in southern Johnson County, but my guess is that it is due to them being AAHA accredited. The visit WILL cost you a pretty penny, but it is also worth it.

The doctors and staff are great. My cat had some surgery and they kept me informed of his progress. I would recommend the
I've been going here for years and have yet to have a bad experience, with the exception of my shelter dog being hard to manage. Despite him needing to be muzzled due to his lack of socialization, every employee was accommodating. Nobody acted scared of him, which put me at great ease. As far as prices go, you get what you pay for. Any bill that might run high is well worth it, as none of my animals have ever been misdiagnosed by any of the vets I have seen. I have had to visit another vet over the years for my rats (I don't believe they treat them here, but I may have been mistaken) and that is a different story. This location is definitely preferred.

We love Dr Laura, she and the practice became like an extension of our family when my very old, diabetic dog was in his final run with major health issues. They were very patient with me as I started to accept what was happening with him and were extremely sympathetic while I said my goodbye. We have 3 other dogs (one other that had to be put down only months later), and each dog is given excellent attention by Laura and her staff. I absolutely love this office and vet. They mean the world to our fur family.
Dr. Laura and staff were wonderful this past weekend when I was out of town. My dog got sick and the boarders and was transferred to Southporte to be treated. She remained there over the weekend. The first day I had two calls with updates on her condition and again on Saturday. We have been going to Dr. Laura for over 20 years and would recommend her to anyone who asked!
