Ashleigh Coleman is the most talented photographer I know. For years I have followed her blog and enjoyed the beautiful, artistic pictures she posts. Consequently, I was thrilled when she agreed to be the photographer for my engagement and wedding, and, after three years, I continue to be delighted with the beautiful way she captured that day. Now, each time I'm in a wedding, I'm continually reminded that Ashleigh is one of those uniquely talented people who takes incredible photographs and makes it look easy. Not only does she produce amazing art that all involved will treasure for years to come, but she is also so skilled at doing so that she puts everyone at ease during a big event, such as a wedding, that has the potential to be stressful. Carlyn Photography was a great choice for our wedding. First of all, my fiance and I don't live in Jackson; however, Carlyn and Derrick worked around our busy schedules and were very accommodating when we needed to reschedule our session. It was a gloomy and rainy day on the day we scheduled our engagement photos, but Derrick didn't let that ruin our pictures nor our spirits. He kept the mood light by making jokes, used an umbrella as a prop and created pictures that were better than we could imagine. The level of professionalism is top notch, and their prices are very reasonable. We're happy to have chosen Carlyn Photography for our wedding and we would recommend them to any engaged couple!

My wedding photography experience with Carlyn Photography was professional and delightful from start to finish. I secured them for my engagement pictures in addition to my wedding photography. Josh Hailey is fantastic...no, amazing. I have difficulty finding the right words, because we were so beyond happy with our engagement photos. The city we chose has a very special place in our hearts, and not only did Josh take us to all the best places around town-including the spots that meant the most to us- he made it FUN the whole time. From dancing, to funky food breaks, to just chatting and making us comfortable, it was one of the best days of our engagement. Down to earth businessman and with a creative vision in the stars, he's basically all you want in a photographer! We got all the traditional shots, silly and creative shots, and some truly magical ones that will hang in our home forever. AND...we got digital copies of ALL the photos, fully finished, within a week. Honestly, I can't say enough. You're crazy if you don't consider him for your wedding photography needs! (Or just as a cool artist)

Josh shot our wedding earlier this month. I thought it would be quite a challenge because we had a double wedding (my little brother and his fiance got married as well, same stage, same time) but he pulled it off splendidly! We chose him because we knew he had a talent for capturing those little special candid moments that you really want to remember. He had such a great energy the whole day. The end result were photos that were vivid, lively, colorful, and full of love and emotion. AND he got the photos to us really quickly. Only two weeks after the ceremony!

Let me guess, you're undecided on a photographer? Maybe you've got two or three choices that you just can't decide on. Well, just stop looking. Seriously. Stop. You're stressing out for nothing. If you've made it here then you just need to accept that fate has led you here to use Sully. I know what you're thinking, "divine intervention?". Yes. I know it's a big decision and you're not sure if you'll regret it.. but I'm telling you: you won't. You will be hard pressed to find a photographer better than Sully, I promise. He's professional, laid back and confident in the work he does. Plus, he has a beard (I think he keeps memory cards in it). You probably have kids in the family that you're worried about getting in pictures because you're afraid they're going to cry/scream/set the place on fire? Well, Sully operates so quickly, the kids won't have time to light a match. Seriously. My family (on both sides) was amazed at how quickly he works. He doesn't stress anyone out or take so long that cheeks start twitching. Also, he's not one of those photographers that tries to act cute and be the center of attention - he's professional. So if you're stressing out, go ahead and bite the bullet. Get Sully. Move on and stress out about something else, because he has the picture taking on lock down.
