Absolutely loved the experience. Ambiance was relaxed and pleasant and captain was knowledgable and engaging. A great way to see the Baltimore whether you are local or coming from afar.
The cruise was beautiful, the boat was very comfortable. Captain Tom and Sam were so nice. They were very informative when we had questions but also gave us space to enjoy the cruise and views quiety. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time on Captain Virgil's boat! There was plenty of room for 8 of us in both the sun and the shade. When we arrived, the first mate, April, greeted us and showed us around the cabin. We brought our own drinks, fruit, and some easy to eat snacks that April served us throughout the trip. We left at 11am for a three hour trip and it was the perfect amount of time. Captain Virgil started the trip with some history of the inner harbor and a slow sail from Canton to towards Fed Hill for about an hour which was great for our friends that aren't from Maryland. After the tour of the inner harbor we sailed out to Fort McHenry for some relaxing time in the sun on the water. We enjoyed every minute of our time on the boat. Afterwards, the captain recommended a local bar and we met up with him for a drink. Great time. Great experience. I would highly recommend!
Best day trip event! Book with harbor sail for your time and events. They take you out for a couple hours and give you a history of the harbor!

What a fun time! The pirates really were awesome & got everyone involved to have a great time. Shooting the water cannons was a blast! Great experience! BYOB
This is a pirate ship for kids and adults. They dress you in pirate gear and perform pirate activities while cruising the harbor. Was alot of fun for all. They also offer a party room for birthdays. Adult night cruise available as well. It seems to become a pirate party ship on the adult cruises. The whole staff was great. Could not have had a better time with my grand children. Reasonably priced as well.

We went on the Friday night sailing for our anniversary before heading to dinner. It was so relaxing and the Captain had a lot of knowledge about the sights but didn't talk too much. Being out on the water during sunset was so beautiful.
We recently took the 45 minute tour. It was an enjoyable and informative way to see some of the historic buildings of Baltimore's Inner Harbor without walking or crowds. In addition to the pre recorded narrative, they also took time to point out some of the chance happenings nearby as we cruised. Well worth the price.

They have two 74 foots wooden schooners that give a genuine and enjoyable sailing experience. They have been teaching customers about the history in the Chesapeake Bay Area since 1993.
I have taken multiple trips on the Woodwind ships and they are a great way to see the Annapolis and nearby waterways. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the boat and surrounding area. They seek out passenger participation to help raise and lower sails as well as steer the ship. This is great for kinds(or adults that love sailing). A great experience for anyone who can't afford their own 60 ft sailboat!
Another great cruise on Woodwind II. This was the sunset cruise on the Saturday evening of the Annapolis Sailboat Show. The wind was a steady 20 knots and we moved briskly through the bay at 8+ knots. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable as always, and I got my usual turn at the helm. All in all a splendid evening. I'll do it again sooner than later
