Mike McMahon is a talented tattoo artist who has been awarded numerous times for his skill. He is the owner and founder of Empyrean Tattoo located in Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. Some of the styles he draws are black and grey, characters, color realism, fantasy, portraits, and skulls. He won Best Cover Up in the Little John’s Tattoo Expo 2009 competition and Most Original in the Baltimore Tattoo Convention 2008.
Got a tattoo from Joel and it was perfect. EXACTLY what I wanted. He also gave my girlfriend her first tattoo and he was really great, walked her through everything and was really nice. She loves her tattoo too. We'll definitely be back soon!

In 2006 Mike Cunnings opened his own studio after being in the trade since 1996. Mike has received several awards and recognitions all thanks to his skill and expertise in the art. His studio has artists that understand the importance of quality tattoos and they work hand in hand with the customers to achieve that. Body piercing services are also available and are done with utmost care and hygiene levels. Mike is one of the few portrait artists who are skilled in the style and is known to pay attention to every detail in a portrait. He has been featured in the Prick Magazine.
The whole experience was fantastic! My friend and I had appointments set up, walked in, filled out paperwork, and hung out for a bit while Nick finished up with another session. He listened to what my friend and I wanted (we got matching tattoos), reviewed our pictures and told us what would be best. He was very personable and put us at ease. Absolutely love my tattoo. I'll be coming back here for sure in the future for more ink! Nick was absolutely amazing. We're so thrilled!

The Marietta-based studio has four other artists who are skilled in different styles such as colored, black and grey, watercolor, realism, illusions, calligraphed and lettered tattoos, and so much more. The crew ensures to maintain high levels of cleanliness and sterility.
AMAZING! I saw Chris to begin the process of my sleeve and I have paw prints with my dog's faces in them and it looks like I have a legit picture on my arm. He is amazing. The entire staff was amazing, from the first consult to the actual appointment. The entire facility is clean and I won't go anywhere else for a tattoo, go ahead and book an appointment and expect a wait, that's when you know they're amazing artists! I absolutely LOVE Mystic Owl, the talent these artists have is just incredible. Thank you so much for your time and creating this piece for me, I love it so much!!!!

Sam did my daith piercing and couldn’t have been nicer! He was extremely knowledgeable about the piercing and made sure the jewelry fit my ear perfectly and wouldn’t be too big. He answered all my questions and even gave other remedies for migraines! I would definitely recommend!

Matt pierced my daughter’s ears and he was AWESOME. She was nervous and he did a great job reassuring her and letting her know exactly what was going to happen. He was meticulous in placing the marks and made sure we were happy with the placement before he did the piercing. My daughter said it didn’t hurt like she thought it would, and she’s very happy to finally have her ears pierced. We will defiantly return for any future piercings.
