My first time here and i loved it cause they took really good care of our dog, and they explained to me the fractures that he had by letting me see the X-rays. Lots of people go there i am guessing cause is a good and not so expensive animal clinic so it does get pretty busy but you will have to just be patient and wait for your turn!

I called around to many Vets to find decent prices since I was a first time dog owner. This was the Vet with the best price. And I am so glad I went there. They are great. Dr. T is very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. The assistants and front desk personnel are also very nice and helpful. It has been 3 years and highly recommend them. They even accommodate you when are a walk in.
I have been going to Downey Veterinary Hospital for 8+ years and they are consistently great. The staff is awesome and provides excellent customer service and the Vet. takes his time to explain things. I currently have a chihuahua who has a heart condition and when he was initially put on heart medication I appreciate the follow-up calls from the vet to check how everything was going. Because they are great showing up without an appointment during peak hours is not the best but in an emergency I don't mind waiting because I know my dogs will be treated great.

Nice, clean facility. The staff is always really nice even though the wait can be kind of long on weekends. But they do a great job of answering questions via phone or email. I think the prices are similar to other vet clinics in the area. They do care quite a lot about your animal, and give great diet advice. I like that they offer price alternatives. I drive the 30 minute commute just to take my dog here because the vets and staff are great. Thanks to them.

So i went a couple days ago to put my dog down , the staff were very helpful and walked us through everything that might and will happen when putting her down I felt like they were very respectful during this hard time, they didn't rush through things and they gave us our space to say our goodbyes, it was very thoughtful of them to also send us a card with their condolences. Sadly I won't be coming here anymore but I would definitely recommend this hospital .
My dog had been seen by another vet that overcharged me and waited six hours noticed my dog was not getting better brought him to see the Dr and I am so happy I did very professional and I knew he had much love for my dog provided me of what my dog might have just love the staff and will be coming back for future appointments I highly recommend this office you will not be disappointed and the fees and wait time was well worth our visit Thank you
