Cherry was fun to work with from the get go. For a small gathering, we had a long list of group photos we wanted to achieve, and Cherry was great at corralling everyone for the pictures. This was no mean feat because, given the intimate nature of our wedding, we had photos taken with each of our guests, as well as a group shot of us with all the guests. She also had great ideas for shots that we wouldn’t have thought of on our own, some of which were truly brilliant. She was kind enough to shoot at the Santa Barbara Courthouse for the ceremony and “first look” shots; at the restaurant where we hosted dinner afterwards; and at nearby Butterfly Beach (she even drove us there, so we wouldn’t have to deal with parking!). Cherry had the proofs to us within a couple weeks (she gave us a link to our own page on her site). We couldn’t be happier!

Our 5 year old twins 'birthday' shoot/family shoot experience with Kacie was amazing. There was a lot going on with two sets of grandparents, but Kacie just moved us through with ease and was able to get some nice shots (in ridiculous wind!). But the real magic was with the kids. Kacie was able to capture joy and love and sweetness and I'm going to cherish these pictures of my children forever. We were lucky enough to have Michael Costa capture our wedding at Sunstone Winery. Since we were getting married at such a naturally gorgeous place, we wanted our wedding to highlight the natural scenery - especially in the pictures. Leading up to the wedding, Anna - his wife - was very organized and talked us through the entire process to make sure we were all on the same page. Michael did a fantastic job capturing lighting, the beauty in the landscape - especially contrasting colors which turned out beautifully in the photos, candid moments, and the vibe of the party. He was also surprisingly hilarious, and a pleasure to work with, making our entire wedding party feel at ease even though we were taking photos under 95 degree heat. The final products were just what we were looking for, and our family has fallen in love with our photos as much as we have. My only suggestion would be to extend the hours as much as financially possible, since I wish I would have gotten more getting-ready photos. Thanks Michael, for capturing our wedding so beautifully!
