Blue Iris Photography did a MAGICAL job at our Wedding. They captured the unique aspect of an Alaskan Winter Wedding. On top of being very flexiable, they embraced an outdoor wedding in December and nailed every possible shot in very little light. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hathcoat are fun, creative, and talented at what they do. After months of searching and interviewing several potential photographers ranging from the Valley to Anchorage; we quickly noticed how over-priced several companies were. This company produces PROFESSIONAL photos at an affordable price and they are AWESOME to work with. If you are looking for something different, something fresh, or just a local husband and wife team that know how to coordinate and treat a customer- THIS is your business. I recommend them for any work, portraits, etc. I can't wait to come back to Alaska and hire them for a different shoot!

So much love for Joe! We traveled from Oklahoma to Alaska for our elopement and he was so helpful and super fun to work with. There's certainly no awkwardness with the whole photo process as they make you feel super comfortable with whatever type of pictures you're trying to capture. Laura was also an incredible help throughout the day and sweet as can be. Even if it had nothing to do with wedding stuff, Joe was always able to give a second opinion on where to eat and what the best spots were to check out. We're very lucky to have found Chugach Peaks!

Our wedding pictures were EPIC. I mean EPIC. We did a helicopter glacier wedding in Juneau with Joe from Chugach Peaks Photography. The glacier was amazing and people are stunned when they see our incredible pictures. Joe was fun to work with and took us all over Juneau after the glacier to little tucked away spots off the beaten path; he was so knowledgeable about the area and we really got some unique shots. My only problem is trying not to put too many around our house, etc - they're all so amazing. We couldn't be happier; what a way to remember Alaska and our very unique wedding!

Sharon and Laura are the simply the best. They make you feel at ease in front of the camera, and deliver the best photos in any weather, at any time. Not only are they extremely professional, but they also put their clients needs and emotions at heart giving you photos you will never forget. After mine and my boyfriends outdoor session, we were brought to Elegante Lights beautiful studio in downtown Anchorage. We viewed some of the highlight shots in a special video placed with the perfect music. The whole thing was truly magical. The amount of effort they put into their work is so devotional. I am still overwhelmed with the photo’s Sharon took of our wedding, she captured the raw moments of the ceremony and the personalities of everyone that shared our special day. I am not a photogenic person, but Sharon has the ability to make you feel relaxed and it really shows in her photography. I would use Elegant Light Photography again.

I had Elegante Light Photography at my wedding and I couldn't ask for more. I cried when I saw how they were able to capture my special day. First off they showed up plenty early and even went into crazy lengths to make sure they got the picture with the perfect angle. This included standing on the toilet in the dressing room to get the perfect shot! She got my dress and dressing room pictures before, the little decor items and then perfect picture of the cake! While giving the attention to my groom and I she was still able to get great shots of my family and friends present. After the wedding she invited my husband and I to review our day in the beautiful studio and we sat in front of a massive screen and saw a specialized video made for us and photos she took for us after the wedding at a special location. I can't believe she made me cry like that! I love that I can order my photos on different materials including metal and wood.
